not a loud place, preferably intimate, great gourmet food choices, possibly offering entertainment later at night on a Saturday!

fogo de chao is great meat rest.. kinda exspensive but great, atmosphere awesome, but no seafood or entertainment
the apartment
the only good thing to come out of chicago is the goat
Try Catch 35
Fogo de Chao restaurant is awesome!! It is a bit pricey. It cost $250.00 for 3 adults to eat there. No entertainment.
For great atmosphere I like Riva restaurant at Navy Pier, the view of the skyline is fantastic and they have a varied selection of steak, pasta and seafood, my wife loves their tuna seared with a ginger soy sauce garnished with asparagus and orchid petals. As for beef if you love prime rib then I would suggest the Prime Minster in Northfield on Milwaukee Ave North of Lake Avenue, not just the prime rib but every cut of steak is available and succulent.
I would try Fulton’s on the Chicago River. It has absolutely amazing views of the river and they have many patios where you can sit outside and enjoy the weather/views. The inside is modern, but loft-style with 13 foot ceilings and windows everywhere. The food is amazing with steak and seafood.
Riva
Try Gibson’s on Rush Street. Very expensive, though.
Maggiano’s is great, Italian food, excellent steak. They have a bar also but I don’t believe entertainment. Gibson’s is also a great choice, and Shaw’s crab house for seafood. All can be pricey, but Maggiano’s would be the cheapest, because their servings are family style, and you share everything.
