Best Steakhouse – across the street from the Fox Theatre.

It’s an old establishment & kinda small but the food is great!

It’s a chain place but Lone Star is great. (Go to their website and sign up for their e-mail club to get great discounts)

We went there for mothers day and we got a free piece of pie and a coupon for $15 off our next visit. They give you bread and peanuts in the shell as soon as you sit down, as you leave the place you can ask for “Peanuts To Go” and they give you a big ole bag full of them.

I wouldnt know what to tell you since you think Texas Roadhouse is good. Maybe Ponderosa or Bonanza. Golden Corral has steaks.

I don’t remember a talking tree specifically – but could you be referring to Rainforest Cafe? http://www.rainforestcafe.com/ They have several in large cities and tourist areas.

Other than that – giving a location of where this was would help people answer.
